Our Annual Outing 2009
A map showing the location of Lawshall, Golden Wood and The Green Light Trust
Golden Wood was one of the first community woodlands in Suffolk. It was created by our organisation mentors The Green Light Trust.
Ric Edelman, a founder of the Green Light Trust, will accompany us and explain how and why the wood was planted, how it is used and maybe we can bring back some ideas to help us in our own woodland here in Bury St. Edmunds.
We may also have time to look around The Foundry, home of The Green Light Trust.
It is an award winning building constructed adjacent to Golden Wood, build and run using green technology.
The map below shows the location of Lawshall and The Green Light Trust.
